Itinerary

Day One:

Arrival Delhi - Sightseeing, Cultural Sites & Bollywood Musical

Morning: Arrival at New Delhi airport and meet your Expedition Leader and driver

Afternoon: Experience the new culture: The local guide and driver will take you to see the India Gate, Mahatma Gandhi Museum

Evening: In the evening, you will see a live Musical at the beautiful theatre, Kingdom of Dreams. The stunning effects will leave you spell bound as you will enjoy the music and its beats and may like to learn a few dance steps in the bargain

Overnight: At the Oberoi Maidens Inn Hotel

Day Two:

Sightseeing in Delhi

Day: Starting with an easy morning then get ready to explore the old parts and new markets of Delhi

Sightseeing in Delhi to visit the Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and afternoon tour of New Delhi that takes you past the presidential palace, the national parliament the India Gate and more

Then you will visit the 800-year-old Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret and the Iron Pillar

Evening: Dinner at the Hotel and overnightat the Maiden’s Inn in Delhi

Day Three:

Train to Jaipur & Cycle Acclimatisation

Morning: After breakfast transfer from Hotel to Delhi train station to experience the famous Indian trains and countryside by train

Day: Jaipur is a city of history and tradition, dating back to its foundation in the 17th century by Sawai Jai Singh, from whom it derives its name

Jai Sing meticulously planned the civic layout of Jaipur, with wide roads and impressive architecture, all of which is painted pink to this day

Jaipur is almost equidistant from Delhi and Agra, and forms part of the famed Golden Triangle, overnight Shahapura house Hotel

Afternoon: Will be spent trail cycling and getting familiar with your bikes. Explore the outskirt of the city that is more rural. Return back will be by our coach

Day Four:

Morning cycling in the Pink City and afternoon Tour/Movie

Day: Spend around 2 hours cycling towards the outskirt of Jaipur finishing near to Amber fort with a picnic breakfast and enjoy the rides in the surrounding of Pink city

You will be passing through Old town of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal & Amer Fort. Jaipur is rich with old history and amazing forts and Palaces, city is majestic blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture built with red sandstone and white marble. You will be exploring water palace and markets. It is fusion of art and architecture

Afternoon: Back in Jaipur, a sightseeing tour takes us to visit the City Palace, with its elaborately carved doorways and the Jantar Mantar observatory Largest Sundial

Evening: Get ready to experience the Bollywood Cenema and  movie at Rajmandir Movie hall in Jaipur. Overnight at the Shahapura House Hotel

Day Five:

Cycling - Jaipur to Talab Gaon (88km)

Day: Today early morning transfer to the outskirt of Jaipur from where you will start your cycling towards Talab Gaon Castle.  Enroute cycling you will be passing through some rural area

Overnight: Talab Gaon  

Day Six:

Cycling/Camping - Talab Gaon to Sariska & Tiger Park (108km)

Day: After exploring around the castle, cycle towards Sariska. Sariska is one of the most famous Tiger reserves in India.

The whole cycling stretch will be passing through rural villages and the countryside roads. We cycle towards the forest of Sariska, through the amazing Aravalli hills, lakes and past Bhangarh Fort, the most haunted place in India. Today is an amazing trail for biking.

The topography of Sariska supports scrub-thorn arid forests, rocky landscapes, dry deciduous forests, rocks, grasses and hilly cliffs. The park is famous for its Bengal Tigers, one of the most magnificent animals of India. It is the first tiger reserve in the world to have successfully relocated tigers.

Sariska is also ethereal for bird watchers with some of the rarest feathered species like Grey Partridge, White-throated kingfisher, Indian peafowl, Bush Quail, Sandgrouse, Treepie, Golden-backed Woodpecker, Crested serpent eagle and the Indian eagle-owl.

Overnight: Utsav Camp.

Day Seven:

Cycling - Sariska to Abhaneri Niwas (50km)

Day: Early start and cycle to Abhaneri. Begin the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, and then set off on a bike ride through the picturesque countryside, chequered with mustard fields and millet farms to the Bharatpur.

Visit Chand Baori, one of the largest stepwell built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan.

Ride directly towards the Abhaneri step well that is known for its architectural beauty.

Overnight: At the amazing Abhaneri Niwas with a yoga class in the evening.

Day Eight:

Cycling - Abhaneri to Bharatpur Sikiri & Bird Sanctuary (101 kms)

Day: After breakfast Cycle and visit several palaces.

Afternoon: Afterwards visit Bharatpur for the afternoon for the cultural experience of Rajasthan.

Evening: We explore the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary on a bike, famous for avifauna sanctuary that plays host to thousands of birds, where you have an opportunity to interact with the local guide and gain greater insight into the bird lives.

Day Nine:

Drive - Bharatpur to Sikir to Agra for The Taj Mahal & Red Fort, Evening train to Delhi

Day: After breakfast drive towards Agra

Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. The abandoned, ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri lies some 40 km from Agra. The city was built by the Emperor Akbar in 1569, in honour of Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti, who prophesied that Akbar would have three sons. For 14 years Fatehpur Sikri was Akbar’s capital until a lack of water forced the city to be abandoned. The city is remarkably well-preserved, and visitors can see the Jama Masjid, the tomb of Salim Chisti, Road from Bharatpur to Agra highway is not suitable for safe cycling, but if some clients want to take the challenge, we will support and continue cycling to Agra

Lunch: Agra hotel

Afternoon: Visit the Taj Mahal and Red fort

The Wonder of the World - The Taj Mahal:

Agra, a city whose very name evokes the romanticism of India. On arrival visit Agra Fort if enough time allowed and later visit Taj Mahal for sunset. Commissioned by the broken-hearted Emperor Shah Jahan after his beloved wife died in childbirth, this masterpiece of Islamic architecture took some 20,000 labourers and artisans nearly two decades to complete (at a cost of more than $1 billion in today’s money)

Your first glimpse of the Taj Mahal—perfectly timed to coincide with the setting sun—will literally take your breath away

Evening: Train to Delhi

Overnight: Delhi.

Day Ten:

Delhi, Airport

Early breakfast and drive to the airport

If time allows quick shopping in the Delhi Haat and arrive in London in time to enjoy your Sunday evening at home
